JustCall Playbook
Internet Moguls Sales Team

Every call now runs through JustCall.

Calls you make from the hub log themselves: duration, outcome, and the recording land on the lead's timeline automatically. No manual logging, ever. Here's the 5-minute setup and the new workflow.

Before your first call

One-time setup — about 5 minutes

1

Accept your JustCall invite

It's in your email — the same email you use for Sales Hub. That match is how your calls get credited to you.

2

Log in & stay logged in

Sign in at app.justcall.io on your work browser and leave it logged in. The hub's Call button uses that session.

3

Make one test call

Your browser asks for microphone access the first time — click Allow. Done. You never repeat any of this.

Your number

Get your calling number — pick one of three paths

Every closer dials out from their own JustCall number, so callbacks ring you. Choose whichever fits:

Fastest — 2 minutes

A. Buy a new number

In JustCall go to Phone Numbers → Add Number, search an area code (313 for Detroit-local, or match your market), and claim one with a click. It's live instantly and billed to the company account — not your card.

2–3 weeks

B. Port a number you already use for business

Keep your existing business line and move it into JustCall. You'll need: a signed Letter of Authorization, your port-out PIN, a recent bill or account number, and the billing address — all matching your current carrier's records. Send those to Chris and we'll file it. Your number keeps working the whole time; don't cancel your old service until the port completes.

Keep both

C. Forward your old number

Buy a new JustCall number (path A), then set your old line to forward to it — on most carriers dial *72 + your new JustCall number (check your carrier's forwarding setting). Leads who still call your old number land in JustCall, get answered anywhere you're logged in, and the call logs to the hub like any other.

Not sure which? Take path A today so you can start calling, and decide on porting later. Don't port your personal cell — that moves your whole personal line into the company phone system.

The new workflow

Three steps. That's the whole job.

Nothing else about your day changes — same leads, same hub, same pipeline. The only difference is where you click to dial.

Open your lead in Sales Hub

Exactly like you do now — Today's Calls, Upcoming Calls, or the Leads page.

Click the green Call button

It's right next to the phone number in the lead popup:

Lead — Contact Info
+1 (313) 555-0142 Call Push to JustCall

Talk. Then just hang up.

The dialer pops up with the number filled in. When the call ends, it logs itself on the lead's timeline — duration, connected or no answer, disposition, and the recording link.

Booked leads are already in JustCall. Every Cal.com booking adds the lead as a contact automatically — so when they call you back, you see their name, not a mystery number. The "Push to JustCall" button is only for older leads that came in before this went live.

Callbacks

When a lead calls you back

At your desk

Answer in the JustCall browser tab. The call still logs to the lead's timeline on its own.

Away from your desk

Install the JustCall mobile app (App Store / Google Play) and sign in with the same email. Calls you take there log to the hub too.

The rules

Do this, not that

Do

  • Dial from the hub's Call button whenever you're at your desk — it ties the call to the exact lead.
  • Stay logged into app.justcall.io all day.
  • Add a disposition in JustCall after big calls — it syncs to the hub.
  • Grab the mobile app so callbacks reach you anywhere.

Don't

  • Don't call leads from your personal cell. If it's not through JustCall, it doesn't exist — and tracked calls are how your work gets seen.
  • Don't copy-paste numbers into the dialer by hand — the Call button links the call to the lead for you.
  • Don't log calls manually anymore. It's automatic now.
